About Jarrod

Jarrod is a lifelong resident of Ouachita County. He and his wife, Natalie, have been married for 14 years, and they have three children: Melanie (22), Chase (20), and Katie (11). The family resides in Chidester.

Jarrod began in emergency services in December 1997 on the Chidester Volunteer Fire Department. He is still on the CVFD and serves as the Assistant Chief. In 2005, he joined the Camden Fire Department and currently serves as one of the Assistant Chiefs. He began his law enforcement career 2001 for the Chidester Police Department, where he still serves as today. He started with the Ouachita County Sheriff's Department in 2005 and continues to serve as a deputy in the present day.

Jarrod promises to use his vast emergency services experience to better the Ouachita County Sheriff's Department.
